Duchenne Smile
A genuine smile involving simultaneous activation of the zygomatic major (mouth) and orbicularis oculi (eyes).
Named after French neurologist Guillaume Duchenne, this smile is involuntary during true positive emotion. The eye crinkle distinguishes it from social smiles and scores highest on Smile Tracker.
