I built Smile Tracker after noticing that most face-analysis apps either demanded account sign-ups, uploaded your photo to a server, or gave you a score with zero explanation behind it. I wanted something different — a tool that runs entirely in your browser, tells you exactly how it scores you, and backs every claim with published research.
I write evidence-based guides on the science of smiles, facial aging, face symmetry, and AI-powered biometrics. My goal is to make appearance science accessible and honest — grounded in peer-reviewed research, not clickbait.
Every article I publish includes citations to primary sources. I cover topics including Duchenne smile research, the biology of facial aging, how cameras distort perceived attractiveness, and what the academic literature actually says about facial symmetry and perceived beauty.
